The Pavilion was visited by media and press. While talking to a channel reporter, company representatives shared their views regarding the Russian market and their participation in the World Food Moscow:
Our intention to participate is to find serious buyers through this platform. So far, the visitor footfall at Pakistan pavilion is satisfactory and we are hopeful for some business.
Muhammad Yasir – Tapal Tea Pvt Ltd.
We export around 250-300 cartons of Oranges and Mangoes each year to Moscow, yet we believe that presence in a trade show is important as it helps to gauge the demand of one’s product and makes business networking easier. This is a huge market which provided a lot of business opportunities for us. I recommend other Pakistan fruit exporters to spread their business here as well.
Sadaruddin & Co.
We are regular participants at World Food Moscow and we are exporting to Russia for the past 8 years. Not only Pakistani Rice is in demand but also our Sesame seeds have a huge market here. It is a market of 200,000 ton and among all the other exported rice, Pakistani rice is a top favorite here.
Mahesh Raja – Mast Qalandar Rice Mills
We have come to exhibit at World Food Moscow again this year. Last time we only showcased Rice, but now that we know that this market offers massive opportunities, we have brought pickles, spices and himalayan salt along with us too.
Sadia Khalid Paracha – Kafi Commodities
