Breaking Ground: The best of Pakistani Tech Companies make a mark at GITEX Africa’s debut event

For the first time, more than 200 IT experts, ten start-ups, and over 14 IT enterprises from Pakistan took part in the GITEX Africa in Morocco. The GITEX Africa Digital Summit brought together 400+ global and pan-African government and private sector leaders, investors, policymakers, technology, and finance executives, and academics united in seeing Africa become a single digital market. It was a successful event  marking it to be Africa’s most influential and outcome-focused forum for dialogues, exchanges, and collaborative intentions.

Chairman PASHA Zohaib Khan and Member IT Syed Junaid Imam were part of the Pakistani delegation at the GITEX Africa Digital Summit, which Minister IT Syed Amin Ul Haque led after formally inaugurating the Pakistan pavilion.

Former Moroccan Minister for IT and Transport Rabbah Aziz, Huawei Africa President Colin Hu, and numerous other well-known individuals and global tech experts visited Pakistan’s pavilion and expressed a keen interest in the goods on display there.

 

“The world is now openly acknowledging the IT skills of Pakistani youth,” said IT Minister Syed Amin-ul-Haque, while speaking at the GITEX exhibition

The above referenced statement is from the meeting between Syed Amin ul Haque and different international delegations in GITEX Morocco as sidelines engagements. The topic of discussion for this meeting was the global and revolutionary challenges in the sector of IT and Telecom, faced by the Government of Pakistan.

The secretary of the General Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), Mr. Deemah Al-Yahiya and the Federal IT Minister, also launched a meeting. However, this meeting revolved around bilateral issues and ways to boost Digital Cooperation among the members of DCO. Mr. Saeed Al-Gerghavi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber Of Digital Economy also discussed the different measures to ace investment opportunities in Pakistan with the IT Minister. The IT minister was also called out by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos, Nigeria, during the session.

 

 

GITEX Africa concluded with an exceptional experience as world leaders, tech executives, and startup founders came together for three unforgettable days. The Pakistan-Morocco B2B Tech Connect

The Pakistan-Morocco B2B Tech Connect at GITEX AFRICA successfully bridged barriers in IT, uniting leaders and innovators from both countries. Notable figures, including Federal Minister of IT & Telecom, Syed Amin ul Haque, P@SHA Chairman Muhammad Zohaib Khan, and Member IT Junaid Imam, graced the event.
