Fashion World Tokyo invited Textile Exporters to grow exports in Asian Hub

Fashion World Tokyo  is a promising platform which delivered a punch when it comes to fashion, exoticism and glamour this year in the capital city of Japan. The platform brought 930 exporters from all over the world, in three full star studded days from 27th March till 29th March 2019.

It was exceptionally well organized and undoubtedly has brought future prospects for Pakistani exporters to enter the Asian Fashion & Textile market. We have seen a noticeable representation of Pakistan under  the support of Government of Pakistan which offered subsidy to exporters as an incentive to explore this market.

This year exporters from Pakistan were:

  1. Ayesha spinning
  2. Hafiz Tannery
  3. Forta Industries Pvt Limited
  4. Kohinoor Mills
  5. Shoaib International
  6. Nishat Linen
  7. Sapphire Finishing
  8. Toweller Ltd
  9. Up Design

The booths were aesthetically appealing and attracted good visitor traffic.

FEEDBACK OF PAKISTANI EXHIBITORS

“Really great experience to be in the show since we have been working in this industry for almost 20 years. A seminar was also conducted by Pakistani embassy in which we were given an opportunity to present Nishat to different Japanese brand representatives. The response was pretty good and we welcomed them to Pakistan following this meeting. Japanese market has good potential and we have high hopes from it”

Mr. Rizwan from Nishat Mills

“It was great experience to be here, this is the first time we have exhibited in Fashion World Tokyo, and it is interesting as there are many new customers, it’s a new market and we have seen the potential here. We are hoping to exhibit next time as well and will explore this market further”

Hadeel Obaid – Sales Director at Towellers Limited

“We had received great response here, it is a little different market, the culture here is different and the fashion is different. As Tokyo is known for fashion capital so we are trying to explore its fashion for the first time. I would like to certainly tell everybody that Pakistan is not second to anyone in the international market, we have all the products which we can offer to Japanese market and can match the quality and durability”.
