Pakistan’s participation at Doha Defence Exhibition – DIMDEX 2022

The seventh edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022) was held from 21 to 23 of March 2022, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, and organized by Qatar Armed Forces.

Under the vision of “Connecting the World’s Maritime Defence and Security Community”, DIMDEX remains steadfast to deliver an unprecedented spectrum of maritime showcases and commercial exchange while providing unparalleled opportunities for exhibitors and visitors in 2022.

Recognized as the industry’s must-attend event, DIMDEX 2022 will continue its endeavor as a dynamic platform for international exhibiting companies to present the latest industry trends, technologies and innovative solutions to VIP delegations, government representatives and key decision makers, as part of the main exhibition, while the Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC) brings together renowned industry experts and distinguished academics from around the world to discuss the latest industry topics, exchange thoughts and offer modern solutions. The three-day event also welcomes warships from international navies to Hamad Port where the high-tech vessels will showcase its cutting-edge systems on board.

Pakistan Navy participates in DIMDEX

The Pakistan Navy Flotilla with PNS Shamsheer, PNS Azmat, and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency Ship Kolachi arrived at Doha, to take part in DIMDEX. The Pakistan Navy was represented at the event by Commander Logistics Rear Admiral Abid Hameed.

During the visit, Pakistan Navy Officials had one-to-one meetings with the Fleet Commander of Qatari Emiri Naval Force, Commander Azerbaijani Delegation, Chief of Staff Libyan Airforce and Commandar Kuwaiti Navy.

The highlight of the trip was the celebration of Pakistan Day, March 23, in Doha. The occasion was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The Qatari Ministers, the senior defense officials, and a large number of diplomatic personnel were honored with a banquet on board the Pak Navy Ship.
