For the first time, Pakistan is making a debut with promising startups in GITEX Startups Movement. This global startup movement will host participants from 40+ countries. Participation from Pakistan is being sponsored by the Government of Pakistan with support of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@sha) and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).
With the joint efforts of Nest i/o, OPEN Karachi, IBA CED, Technology Incubation Centre NUST, Beaconhouse National University, MadJoint, TiE Islamabad, YEF and University of Central Punjab, 6 promising startups are confirmed to participate after clearing the selection process in an event scheduled from 16-20 October 2016 in Dubai World Trade Center.
A special Pakistan pavilion will be provided for the teams where they will showcase their business. The event will support grass root innovation from Pakistan by enabling them to share their success, get secure funding and find routes to market their products and services by connecting them with 400+ investors and 20,000 CXOs.
Here are the brilliant startups which will be showcasing in the Pakistan Pavilion:
1.Bioniks –Giving the world a helping hand
Bioniks is a project of Vicsous.co which makes 3D printed prosthesis customized in a way that they could precisely work like a natural part. The team firmly trusts that there is a plan and a purpose, a value to every life, and that incorporates the disabled, impaired and challenged. Bioniks is working exceptionally in the field of prosthesis to deal with this issue. It is putting every one of its endeavors to concoct innovations and advancements that could make the world a better place for all, a world without any disabilities, a world brimming with solace and happiness. A project that the team is proud of is preparing a prosthetic ‘Iron Man Arm’ for Bayyan Baloch, a 5 year old child who was conceived with a missing hand.
2. Find Ur Meal – An inimitable blend of Foodies and Restaurants
Find Ur Meal is the brain child of Tech Bridge Consultancy which is committed to provide a unique platform for all foodies to get their food in their desired budget within their accessibility. This platform will develop restaurants aptitude to manage their customers through CRM. Its unique Business Intelligence system provides deep insight of the restaurant business and sales trends, empowering restaurants of making critical decisions. It will perform as restaurants’ marketing agency using tight coupling with social media and VOIP platform.
3. MotionCue – Unleashing the power of video marketing
